Beware of Fake Investment Websites

BDCB

Stay alert to fake investment websites. Verify the provider, check its regulatory status and never share money or personal information before confirming it is legitimate.

Scammers may create fake investment websites that imitate legitimate financial institutions, investment platforms or licensed companies. These websites can appear convincing by using professional designs, fabricated testimonials and promises of unusually high or guaranteed returns.

Before investing, verify the identity and regulatory status of the company through official sources. Check that the website address is correct and be cautious of unfamiliar links, unsolicited investment offers and requests for urgent payment.

Never disclose passwords, one-time passwords, security codes or other personal and financial information through an unverified website. Avoid transferring funds until the investment provider and its claims have been independently confirmed.

If an offer appears suspicious, stop engaging with the website and report it through the appropriate official channels.
