Join NFLD 2026 for a public roadshow, practical activities and expert guidance on smarter money management, financial products, digital safety and scams.
National Financial Literacy Day 2026 was held from 2 to 4 September 2026 under the theme “Smart Money Habits, Stronger Financial Well-Being”.
Organised by Brunei Darussalam Central Bank with the support of the National Financial Literacy Council, government agencies and the financial industry, the event aimed to encourage responsible money habits and improve access to practical financial knowledge.
The Financial Awareness Roadshow at The Mall, Gadong brought together financial institutions and strategic partners through interactive booths, financial activities and consultation sessions. Visitors learned about money management, financial consumer rights and responsibilities, savings, investments, takaful and insurance, digital payments and protection against financial scams.
Financial Talks were also organised for invited participants from government agencies, government-linked companies and higher education institutions. The sessions covered achieving financial freedom and staying protected against emerging digital scams.
